Research Summary
Taking place in a nameless city, Se7en follows the story of two homicide detectives tracking down a sadistic serial killer (Kevin Spacey) who chooses his victims according to the seven deadly sins. Brad Pitt stars as Detective David Mills, a hopeful but naive rookie who finds himself partnered with veteran Detective William Somerset (Morgan Freeman). Together they trace the killer's every step, witnessing the aftermath of his horrific crimes one by one as the victims pile up in rapid succession, all the while moving closer to a gruesome fate neither of them could have predicted.
After I watch the film, I feel the real world is not easy as what I thought before. Everyone has desires and that maybe scourge themselves. I want to try to change the time and murderer settings in the movie. But I will not change the murderer through seven sins. I want to set the time of the story in the future. The day when technology is well developed. Robots can live with humans and learn independently. The murderer is a robot that can learn by himself. It learns about seven sins through reading and find many human weaknesses. It wants to further enhance the position of robots in humans by killing people. The case of detecting the case is the human police. They are constantly striving to eliminate the evil thoughts of robots. Working with scientists to study the habits of robots. And Finally, the case was detected through various difficulties by those policemen.

Somerset is also being fed a line - and he bites. Somerset's curiosity gets the better of him. He's hooked, and so are we This trail of breadcrumbs orientates the audience towards closure and the ultimate satisfaction of "order restored." Nevertheless, the big punchline delivered at the end of Seven, and the sudden change of direction implied by the words "I'll be around" leave us with something both shocking and thought-provoking.
